The inaugural issue in 1983 was launched with the focus on the first giant Gas based Fertilizer project of Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizer ( a Govt. of India Undertaking) at Thal a trend Setter in Indian Gas based fertilizer Industry. A number of Indian and Overseas companies from Denmark, Italy, Germany, Japan, France, UK participated by placing their advertisements in PPE to convey their message to the Indian market.

It was Today, PPE in its 38th year, due to its Editorial contents continues to enjoy wide readership amongst the corporate Planners, decision makers in various sectors and is considered as an authentic source of information for day-to-day reference.
